Magoo's Christmas 4 Veterans Inc Magoo's is a IRS register 501 (c) 3 Non Profit. We bring Christmas to the Veterans in nursing homes a I was excited and went with them.

Christmas of 2015 a local organization I belong to was going to visit the Veterans Nursing Home in Kinston NC. After seeing the impact in the Vets I decided to do it with my business. We quickly raised about 1100.00 from friends and made another trip with country singer Don Cox and delivered Christmas to the Vets with several cars full of personal stuff and things they had asked for. We did it aga

in for Christmas of 2016. On the drive home it occurred to me that the people who donated would not be able to tax deduct their gifts because we did not have a non profit set up. So my wife and I started discussing what we could do. Her dad had just died the prior March and we were thinking about how to dedicated it to him as her was a Korean War Vet. Then it hit me, his nickname was "Magoo" perfect! Magoo's Christmas 4 Veterans was conceived. Within a few days I had drawn up the paperwork and got our state charter and before the end of January I had filed and received our Internal Revenue Service approval as a 501(c)3. Please help us bring Christmas to our Veterans. We plan to do this for as long and as far as the Good Lord will allow us.

Today, Christmas 2025, gifts were delivered to our veterans. Thank you to all who helped put this together and deliver the personal gifts to every Veteran in the Kinston home. A very special thank you to Dawn Johnston . Dawn handled all the shopping and coordination with the staff to ensure that each veteran received a gift they had requested.

Also, thanks to the donors who contributed money. Including Nutrien Aurora and H&R Block Washington.
