A Message from the Night to Shine Team
For the past 10 years, it has been one of our greatest honors to host Night to Shine, a prom night where every King and Queen was celebrated, valued, and loved just as they are. Together, we created memories filled with joy, dignity, laughter, and moments that will forever stay in our hearts.
Because of you—our guests, families, volunteers, and supporters—Night to Shine became more than an event. It became a place where everyone belonged.
After much prayer, reflection, and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision that we will no longer be able to host Night to Shine moving forward due to circumstances beyond our control. This was not an easy decision, and it comes with heavy hearts.
Please know this decision does not reflect a lack of love, commitment, or belief in the importance of our Kings and Queens. Quite the opposite. This event has always required a tremendous number of dedicated volunteers to ensure it is done with excellence, care, and the respect our guests deserve.
While this chapter is closing, our hearts remain open. We are prayerfully exploring the possibility of hosting a different type of inclusive event later in the year—one that may look different, but still carries the same heart of celebration, connection, and community. If and when that opportunity becomes possible, we will share details with all of you.
We are deeply grateful for every volunteer who served, every family who trusted us, and every King and Queen who walked the red carpet over the past decade. You have changed us more than you will ever know.
While Night to Shine as we have known it is coming to an end, the love behind it is not. The impact lives on in the memories made, the friendships formed, and the reminder that every person has immeasurable worth.
Thank you for being part of something truly special. 💙
