F3 Washington donated $2,500 to the Second Judicial District Recovery Treatment Court on June 19, 2026. The RTC focuses on “high risk/high need” court participants who are in the depths of addiction and whose only other option is usually back to prison. Pictured above are Superior Court Judge Regina Parker and District Court Judge Jonathan Jones, aka F3 Saul, along with F3 Washington members Tyree “Sparty” Walker, Seth “Matlock” Edwards, and Mark “Columbus” Stevens. Thanks to all of our F3 supporters who helped make this donation possible.

On June 18, members of F3 Washington travelled to Potter’s Wheel Ministries to present them with a $5,000 donation to help those suffering from substance use disorders. Potter's Wheel Ministries is a Christ-centered residential recovery center and community church located at 147 Faith Lane in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Numerous people from Beaufort and surrounding counties have attended this amazing ministry which financially sustains itself with generous donations as well as their main work project of rebuilding broken wood pallets and reselling them. They do not accept government assistance. Like the broken pallets, residents come to PWM as broken souls and leave as renewed Christians. F3 Washington is proud to assist such a wonderful ministry.

One of my favorite things about F3 is probably one of the main reasons men are afraid to join, and that is the early morning workout times. During the week, F3 Washington normally meets from 5:15am-6am, and then on Saturdays from 7am-8am. When F3 began in a parking garage in Charlotte more than 10 years ago, the early mornings were designed to accomplish the exercise and fellowship while their families were still asleep. Having it done first thing frees up the entire day and assures the exercise is performed. It did require a lifestyle change by getting to bed a little earlier the night before, but it is well worth it. Best of all, it’s free and open to all men. Join us!

On June 13 F3 Washington presented a donation of $5,000 to the Bethel Colony of Mercy, a faith based ministry in Lenoir, NC, that utilizes the Bible and Christian counseling to heal those suffering from alcohol and substance use disorders. We are closely connected with a number of Beaufort County residents who have overcome their demons through this program. Stay tuned for additional posts about other donations made as a result of the community’s generous participation in our annual Exodus Run.

13 men representing the original colonies mastered the Matlock circuit of 250 reps x 2 and learned why NC is First in Freedom (first colony to vote to send delegates to Continental Congress). Happy 4th to all!

THANK YOU to EVERYONE that made the 2026 Exodus Run a huge success! This includes all of our very generous sponsors, nearly 300 participants, Haw Branch Church of Christ for a delicous pancake breakfast, the City of Washington, the Beaufort County Sheriffs Department, and some fellow F3ers from across the region to name a few.

What a beautiful morning to raise some money to fight substance abuse and mental illness right here in eastern NC!
