Pamlico Plantation Your Port for Waterfront Living Pamlico Plantation is a gated waterfront community located in Washington, NC. Welcome! And thank you for visiting the Pamlico Plantation page.

Pamlico Plantation is located in Eastern North Carolina’s unique Inner Banks area, County of Beaufort and near historic Washington. Our master planned, gated community consists of townhomes, custom houses and wooded home sites nestled along the Pamlico River and Broad Creek, providing easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway. Additionally, Pamlico Plantation has a private, 285-slip marina offering water and electrical hookups, restrooms with showers, as well as a pump out station. All are included with property ownership. Pamlico Plantation is a great place to live, work and play. This weekend is Bath Towne After Dark, featuring local high school students dressed in period costumes telling stories from the 1700's and 1800's. Tickets can be purchased at the Historic Bath Visitor Center Friday and Saturday nights, 6-9 p.m. Adults are $12, Youths and Seniors are $8 and kids 5 and under are free. It's fun to walk around and see the high schoolers bring history to life. Watch out for an appearance of Blackbeard the Pirate. He is a very scary ghost!

This is a great time of year to visit White's Farm in Vanceboro. It's located on Hwy 17 going south to New Bern from Pamlico Plantation. There are lots of kid friendly activities, such as a huge in-ground jump pillow, a dual mega slide, a gem mining water tower, various play areas, pumpkin patch, mums, homemade ice cream, jams and jellies and all things Fall.
This would be a great outdoor activity for a single youngster or a class of elementary students. White's farm is open 8 a.m. to
6 p.m most days and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.

Cheeseburgers in Plantation Paradise was my favorite event of the summer!!! There was live music performed by JD and Clay, two very talented musicians and delicious grilled cheeseburgers with lots of appetizers and desserts. It is so nice to be able to spread out to the porch deck and swimming pool area. Some folks were even dancing to the music. The sunset was spectacular. Many thanks to Susan Penders, Sharon Yakubowski and the CRC Cheers Event Planners.

Pamlico Plantation residents Susan Stewart and Karen Britton are starring in the new community theatre production next weekend at Beaufort Community College.
Get ready for takeoff as BPAC, Beaufort Performing Arts Collective, presents the comedy/drama AIRPORT ENCOUNTERS departing from Beaufort County Community College Building 8 Auditorium on Saturday, July 25th and Sunday, July 26th 3:00 matinees. Fasten your seatbelts as you discover all of the situations that take place in the airport waiting area. Tickets, $10 adults/$5 students are available online at www.bpac.live, at the door, or from your Pamlico Plantation neighbors Susan Stewart or Karen Britton who are both in the production.

If you are new to the area or you've just never stopped in Griffin's Farm Market, we are in peak season for fresh, juicy and delicious local fruit and vegetables! The Market is on 17N, just a couple of miles past Lowe's. Whether you are shopping for corn, tomatoes, peaches, potatoes, gifts, candy, nuts, meat, milk, butter...whatever you need is probably at Griffin's! I highly recommend the ground Angus in the frozen meat section. It is the absolute best hamburger I've ever eaten!

This past week, the Redmen's Lodge celebrated its 3rd year of hosting Bingo every Thursday evening at the lodge on 3rd street, downtown Washington. They have managed to donate $125,474 to local charities with the proceeds from bingo.
Pamlico Plantation has a number of faithful participants and many have won multiple times. It's a lot of fun to go out on a Thursday evening, play bingo with friends, have some snacks and possibly win a $500 jackpot! Doors open at 5 p.m. every week with a dinner special, such as soup or chicken pot pie.
Games begin at 6:30 and end around 9:15. Please come out and support our local charities while having a good time with friends!

Plymouth, NC is the home to the world's largest black bears and also boasts the highest density of them. These coastal giant black bears flourish due to the abundance of high protein of crops, mild winters and natural, available habitats.
Plymouth celebrates these animals and educates the public about them in fun, interactive ways. The National Black Bear Festival takes place every year on Plymouth's waterfront the first weekend in June.
It's a huge event that boasts helicopter rides, boat rides on the Roanoke River, bear themed events for adults and children, a variety of food and beverages, music, an antique car show, drone show and fireworks Saturday evening. They even have a black bear biologist who leads wild bear tours! There's something for everyone at this family friendly event!
