I have been told this is actually Beaufort County South Carolina. We often get confused with them and I apologize for any stress this may have put on our citizens. Nonetheless, we still send our condolences to our brothers and sisters down south. The Beaufort County NC Emergency Sevices Associaton would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and fellow coworkers of Paramedic Joshua Bennet during this difficult time. May they find comfort and support from those around them. May happy moments from the past bring forth precious memories to cherish for a lifetime. May God help heal their aching hearts. Thank you for your service and may you rest in peace Paramedic Joshua Bennet.

The Fire & EM Instructor/Coordinator will teach certification and non-certification courses and assist the program director in coordinating the offerings within the service area.

The Beaufort County NC Emergency Services Association would like to thank the Chocowinity EMS and its members for all their many years of service to their community.

EMS services will still be provided to the Chocowinity community by the Beaufort County EMS who will respond from the Chocowinity Fire Department to calls. Residents of the area should see no changes in service.

If you don’t NEED to be out, please stay home! If you are already out, please take it slow getting home! Beaufort County first responders have already been called out to 4 wrecks in the last hour.

Please think about it like this - when you decide to go out and something happens, you are also risking the lives of us first responders that will need to respond to your accident. So please keep yourself and others safe by staying home!
