Faces and Places of PHILOTIMO. And just like that HOPA Foundation’ 9th Annual Feed A Family Thanksgiving is complete.

Through a multitude of distribution partners and a combination of can goods and our new GIFT CARD PROGRAM - With over $12,000 spent our PHILOTIMO FEED 352 families & over 1,450 individuals!! It was a BIG CHALLENGE this year - but we did it.

First and foremost I thank my Lord and my most blessed mother The Panayia for granting me strength!

A special Thank You to my Co- Chair John Avdellas, my family and all our VOLUNTEERS that help feed Beaver County. A very special THANK YOU to all of HOPA Foundation’s SPONSORS, GOLFERS and our Philoptochos Ladies Society. It’s through all your donations that made this possible. It truly takes a village to raise a child- but it absolutely takes Philotimo to feed that village. A Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving and Holiday season to all.

Faces and Places of Philotimo: It was a Busy Busy Busy weekend that included a special delivery on Monday to share our Philotimo. We thank HOPA Foundation friend and my life long dear friend Toni Carroll #85 a school teacher at Joe Walker Elementary School for allowing us to share our Philotimo for another Thanksgiving with our new Gift Card Program. It takes a village to raise a child- but it takes Philotimo to feed that village.

Philotimo never takes a a day off - this is what Philotimo looks like on a Sunday following church, and spending time with our Lord Savior Jesus —praying for continued strength to do Thy Will.
