The new 4-H year is here and somamy great club options!!!! 🎣 Cast a Line with Iowa 4-H!

Calling all anglers and outdoor enthusiasts in grades 4-12! The Iowa 4-H Statewide Fishing Club is a fun way to build fishing skills, learn about Iowa's fish and aquatic ecosystems, and enjoy the outdoors.

Participants will enjoy:

Expert-led webinars on fishing techniques, fish species, safety, and conservation
Self-led fishing tournaments throughout the year
Flexible opportunities to fish and learn on their own schedule

Who: Youth in grades 4-12
When: September 1-August 31
Where: Online and fishing locations across Iowa
Cost: $45 annual fee (financial assistance available)

No local 4-H club membership is required. Youth can join the Fishing Club even if they are not enrolled in a community 4-H club.

Whether you're an experienced angler or trying fishing for the first time, this club is a great way to learn, explore, and have fun outdoors!

This week Amy spent a refreshing day in Ames with the Iowa 4-H Leadership Focus Team and county staff from across the state learning about new programming opportunites.
