What a night! Big thanks to all involved in making the first show of the 2026 Sperryville Summer Concert Series a huge success. Special appreciation to Rick Wasmund at Copper Fox Distillery - Sperryville for use of the fabulous space, Rebecca Porter and her band for the incredible music, Alex Sharp at Copper Fox Antiques and Greg & Liz Yates at The Marketplace for the parking, New Iberia Kitchen for soul-warming food, Sperryville Community Alliance for the great partnership, Sperryville Corner Store for hanging the banner, all the hard-working RAAC/SCA volunteers who helped make things happen, and to our lovely community for turning out on a wet night to support live music! Due to cool and damp weather, this Thursday's free concert featuring Rebecca Porter has been moved indoors to Copper Fox Distillery - Sperryville. Please note that NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed at this show. Copper Fox will be serving cocktails and spirits, as well as bottled water, spritzers, lemonade, and sodas.

Big thanks to Rick Wasmund for generously offering up the space to enjoy music and community in a warm and dry space.

We are so excited to kick off the 6th season of Sperryville Summer Concerts THIS THURSDAY 5/21 at River District with the fabulous Rebecca Porter and her Rhinestone Roses sharing a fusion of honky-tonk and Shenandoah roots. The 2026 Sperryville Summer Concert Series kicks off next Thursday with the local debut of Harrisonburg-based song slinger Rebecca Porter. She's also playing tomorrow's Fridays After Five concert at Charlottesville's Ting Pavilion. Check out the short they created to introduce yourself to the artist and her music. Sperryville Community Alliance and RAAC Arts announce the 6th annual Sperryville Summer Concert Series, a FREE regional music showcase that takes place every third Thursday from May through September at Sperryville River District. The series kicks off with an evening of appalachian grit and chamoru heritage from Rebecca Porter on May 21st. More details at raac.org/concerts
