FREE Blood Tracking!! Statewide Archery season is upon us. If you’re in the Southwestern Pennsylvania area (1 1/2 hour drive from Washington County) and need a blood tracking dog this fall to help recover wounded deer, reach out to us! This would be a free service as Aldo, our Norwegian Elkhound, is looking for some more field experience. Tips are appreciated if we recover your deer!
Best practice when you aren’t confident in finding a wounded deer is to back out of tracking and waiting to look after things settle down. Depending on the situation waiting up to 3+ hours. We can come in a work an area from the shot point, impact site, and first blood (if any is known) and let the dog do his work.
