It’s THURSDAY, which means the rescue has officially entered the part of the week where our bank account starts whispering:

“Girl… we need to talk.” 😭💸

Meanwhile, the animals are like:

🐶 “I need food.”
🐱 “I need litter.”
🐾 “I need a vet.”
🐕 “I ate something I absolutely should not have eaten.”
🐈 “I knocked your stuff off the counter because I felt like it.”
🐕‍🦺 “SURPRISE! I HAVE MEDICAL NEEDS!”

And us?

“WHERE IS THE MONEY, LEBOWSKI?!” 😂

So today’s mission is simple:

🐾 GOOD NEWS!!!!! 🐾🎉

We found a PILOT for Zeus!!! ✈️❤️

Zeus will be heading to the Washington Airport, where we’re hoping he can catch a private flight all the way down to Florida and into the loving arms of his forever home! 🏡🐶

After everything this sweet boy has been through, seeing this journey come together is absolutely AMAZING. ❤️

Please keep your fingers, paws, and everything crossed that this flight works out perfectly! 🤞🐾✈️

Zeus is getting closer and closer to his forever! 🎉❤️

🎒🐾 Tuesday Back-to-School Fundraiser! 🐾🎒

BACK TO SCHOOL = BACK TO HELPING THE CRITTERS! 📚✏️🐶🐱

It’s Tuesday, and while the kids are getting ready to head back to school, our rescue critters are still counting on YOU! ❤️

School supplies aren’t the only thing that gets expensive this time of year—vet bills, food, medications, litter, puppy pads, and rescue supplies keep adding up too.

So today, we’re having a little 🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL TUESDAY FUNDRAISER! 🎒

🐾 Every dollar helps us care for animals who have nowhere else to go.
📚 Think of it as buying a “school supply” for a rescue animal!

Dolly is looking for a home where she can be the center of attention, so she would do best as the only dog in the household. Because of her energetic nature, she would also do best in a home without small children.

🐾 MILES HAD HIS VET CHECK TODAY! 🐾

Remember Miles—the sweet boy who was kept in a cage 24/7? Well, today was a BIG day for him! ❤️

Miles received all of his vaccines and was tested for heartworms. To our surprise, he is HEARTWORM NEGATIVE and a very healthy boy! 🎉🐶

His vet visit today was close to $200, and we will be scheduling his neuter soon. He is already doing AMAZING in his foster home and is finally getting the love, freedom, and care he deserves. 🥰

💕 Adopted Together! 💕

Emma and Earnie were ADOPTED TOGETHER TODAY! 🥹🐾❤️

Their amazing foster, Christine, has had them for months, patiently working with them and helping them come out of their shells. She did an absolutely incredible job helping these two become ready for their forever home!

And today, they got to start that next chapter together! 🏡🐱🐱💕

Christine even drove them all the way to Greensboro, NC to make sure they got safely to their forever family.

Thank you, Christine, for being one of our absolutely AMAZING fosters and for going above and beyond for these kitties! We couldn’t do what we do without fosters like you. ❤️
