Water for Today. Living Water for Eternity.

Jesus said: “Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” — John 7:38 (NIV)

When we help provide clean water, we have an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in a tangible way. We want people to receive the water their bodies desperately need while also encountering Jesus Christ, the One who gives living water.

That is the heart of our work. We do not want simply to drill wells. We want to build relationships, strengthen communities, care for children and families, and allow every act of service to point toward the hope found in Jesus.

From the First Survey to Flowing Water

A complete community water project costs approximately $6,000. That takes a project from siting the well and drilling through completion, including a water storage tank and solar-powered pumping system.

Think about what that means: for approximately $6,000, partners can help establish a sustainable source of water that can serve families day after day and become part of a community’s future.

We are looking for churches, families, businesses, Sunday school classes, civic organizations, and individual donors who will partner with us. One partner may provide an entire $6,000 project. Others may join together—$100, $250, $500, or $1,000 at a time until another community has water.

Every gift becomes part of the same story.

Help us bring clean water to communities like Melfort and as we bring water, help us share the Water of Life.

Clean Water, New Hope for Melfort

Something as simple as turning on a tap and receiving clean, safe water can transform a community. For families in Melfort, Zimbabwe, access to potable water means far more than satisfying thirst, it means health, dignity, opportunity, and hope.

The drilling taking place represents an investment in the future of the entire community. A dependable source of clean water can reduce the risks associated with unsafe water, improve sanitation and hygiene, and give families greater confidence in the water they use for drinking, cooking, and washing. It can also reduce the time and energy spent searching for or carrying water, allowing children to focus more consistently on school and adults on caring for their families and livelihoods.

For Aaron’s Place and the people of Melfort, this water source will also strengthen our ability to serve children and families through community programs. Clean water becomes the foundation upon which better health, nutrition, education, and community development can grow.

These photographs capture more than a drilling project. They capture the beginning of something that can touch lives for generations.

Water is life, and in Melfort, clean water is helping make a healthier and more hopeful future possible.

"...but a stream would rise from the earth, and water the whole face of the ground" (Gen. 2.6). Someone has said, "Water is life." There is no greater testimony to this than bringing water to an impoverished area.

This past year, with the financial donations of many reading this post, lives in the village of Chinyudze, Zimbabwe were changed significantly. One of the greatest testimonies to this is the difference it made in farming.

Attached are pictures of the gardening project at Chinyudze, before and after the well was drilled. --- Corn last growing season. --- This season was much more productive, with Kale, potatoes and tomatoes.

Zimbabwe Holiday Food Baskets

As the holiday season approaches, we invite your support to help vulnerable families in Zimbabwe access basic food needs. Economic hardships and severe drought have worsened food insecurity, particularly in Mashonaland East Province where All God’s Children/Aaron’s Place serves. The 2025 ZimLAC report shows that nearly 300,000 people in this area need urgent food assistance, with more than 45% of households lacking adequate nutrition.

For a donation of $20 you can supply a family of 4 with a food basket containing mealie meal, beans, rice, flour, and cooking oil. These items have been carefully selected to provide balanced nutrition and support family health. These essentials not only meet immediate hunger needs but also foster togetherness as families prepare and share meals during the holiday season.

Your contribution directly improves well-being, reduces the stress of food insecurity, and helps families celebrate the holiday season with dignity. We are deeply grateful for your past generosity and invite you to join us once more in spreading hope, joy, and sustenance this Christmas.

We will be taking donations till December 14th.
