We’ll have a full calendar out tomorrow, BUT we’re kicking off summer campaigners for our middle school friends tomorrow morning!

Not all of our pictures from days 4+5 BUT they took pictures until the camera battery wouldn’t let them take anymore!

*day 4 we talked about Jesus’ resurrection and how similar to a proposal it awaits a response. Our speaker drew the anology of a marriage where you can say “I do,” but it doesn’t end there. You get to spend the rest of your life living out that commitment.

As we come home we will have a variety of camp follow-ups, so be on the lookout! We loved camp, but we don’t want these conversations to end just because we aren’t at camp anymore!!

Thank you parents for making yet another summer camp week possible!

Today comfort zones were challenged, but the smiles speak for themselves! Happy day 3 🤗

*this morning we talked about friendships and what qualities we value most

*we also talked about the condition of sin in our lives and what the consequences are. BUT we also talked about how it’s one thing for people to say they love you, but it’s another for people to SHOW you they love you-and that’s exactly what Jesus did when he died on the cross for us!

Definitely not all the pictures from the last 24 hours, BUT it’s because we’ve been the best kind of busy!

*last night we talked about how Jesus is powerful, personal, and compassionate (and more). Sometimes we focus on one characteristic and it deprives us of how much greater he really is.

*this morning we got to start hearing from some of our Work Crew (high school students serving at the camp). Throughout our week we will continue hearing from them about how they began a relationship with Jesus and how it’s changed their life

*tonight we talked about the bleeding woman in Mark 5. We talked about how Jesus didn’t just heal her physically, but he took the time to be interrupted and restore her dignity by calling her ‘daughter’ because he is a powerful, compassionate, and personal God.

*fyi-If you have a student at camp and get a call from a random virginia number it’s probably the camp phones!

We know the time for the girls may not be ideal, so we will help with rides as we can, but if you’re able to give your child a ride to and from, please do so we can help with ones that might not have options!

No event downtown tomorrow because of the weather, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun! This will be out last official event of the semester, so we will also be celebrating our 8th graders!
