WICHP provides information about options available to Island residents and assists with linking residents to services of their choice. These include: Support Groups, In-Home Supportive Care, B

lood Pressure Screening, Home Delivered Meals, Resource Library, Referrals/Coordination with Health Services, Medical Equipment Loan Closet, Health & Wellness Programs, Connecting to Door County Senior Services, LifeAssist Services and Advocacy.

WICHP Staffing Update

The Washington Island Community Health Program (WICHP) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Patricia (Pat) Schutz has accepted the position of Community Health Coordinator beginning on September 1, 2026. Pat is a retired pastor and longtime resident of Washington Island. In addition to her strong communication skills and successful leadership experience, she has had specialized training in family systems and boundaries. Pat enjoys collaborating with others and has a deep commitment to serving those in need with professionalism and compassion. We are excited to have Pat share her many gifts and talents as part of our WICHP Team!
