Thank you to the for an unforgettable partnership & bringing their basketball camp right here to Washington Heights! Our youth participants trained with the best and were honored with a visit from NBA Hall of Famer & 2x NBA Champion, Walter “Clyde” Frazier (), the Greatest of All Time. Clyde shared his wisdom, took time to answer the kids’ questions, and made sure every kid went home with an autographed copy of his book: “Winning and Grinning: Clyde’s Coloring Book”. More pictures and videos to come. This is just a recap preview reel!

For the first time, we expanded to Thanksgiving. From Thanksgiving through Noche Buena, 2,500 families celebrated the holidays with dignity, with 1,000 turkeys for Thanksgiving and 1,500 pork shoulders for Noche Buena.

At Uplift NYC, we know we can’t control everything our community is facing, but we can control how we show up: with respect, care, and dignity.

Grateful to Rafael Castro, a student-athlete at George Washington University, whose generosity helped make this possible.

Food is essential. So is dignity. 🧡

Por primera vez, ampliamos a Thanksgiving. Desde Thanksgiving hasta Noche Buena, 2,500 familias celebraron las fiestas con dignidad con 1,000 pavos para Thanksgiving y 1,500 perniles para Noche Buena.

En Uplift NYC, sabemos que no podemos controlar todo lo que enfrenta nuestra comunidad, pero sí podemos controlar cómo nos presentamos: con respeto, cuidado y dignidad.
