Restoration 1:99, Inc.

Restoration 1:99 serves survivors of complex trauma living in the greater Washington, DC area with treatment and support programs for adult survivors.

Restoration 1:99, Inc. was formed in 2003 to provide support to women who were rescued from human s*x trafficking. Candace Wheeler, our founder, spent nights on the streets of Washington, DC reclaiming individuals who had been "used up" by pimps and traffickers, and cast aside. We continue to support people who have survived s*x trafficking but now we also support all forms of complex traumas (all

forms of s*xual trauma, bullying, domestic violence, military-related traumas. We have supported, mentored, counseled, and been a friend to thousands of individuals who have supported those experiencing the complex trauma of s*xual exploitation, domestic assaults and other forms of trauma. And finally, we provide training to professional providers of services for complex trauma victims, both locally and nationally, through our Zoom pieces of training, and in-person seminars (when health situations allow).
