🚨Speak out today to help conserve habitat that supports more than half of the waterfowl in North America. 🦆

Hunters like Jamalea Martelle know that a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposal will undermine the successful, voluntary conservation program that has benefited ducks and other waterfowl for decades.

The comment period ends on August 7. Join Jamalea in telling the government to keep current protections in place.📲 https://ow.ly/Fyj750Zx8Bt

Good news! Missourians voted to pass Amendment 1, renewing the state's Parks, Soils and Water tax on Tuesday. 🐦🌳

The 0.1% sales tax allows people to visit any state park or historic park free of charge. Funding from the sales tax also supports soil and water conservation projects on farmlands and woodlands throughout Missouri.

The Prairie Pothole Region in the upper Midwest produces more than half of the continent's migratory waterfowl, but the wetlands these birds depend on are now at risk. 🦆

For decades, voluntary conservation easements have protected these habitats while allowing farmers and ranchers to continue working the land, thanks in part to billions of dollars invested by hunters and conservationists. Weakening those protections could put millions of acres of critical breeding habitat at risk. 📉

Please tell the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to keep protections in place. 🚨

If funding for scientific forest research is cut off and key facilities are closed, crucial research to save wildlife will cease—and fishers will lose. 🌲

Urge Congress to strongly support the U.S. Forest Service research program: https://ow.ly/L1I850ZwfiS

As our climate changes, many species of wildlife are struggling to keep up. 🚨

Up to 30% of all known species on Earth could face extinction if warming continues unchecked. But there is hope. Reducing pollution and greenhouse gases works. More than 1.5 billion birds have been saved since the passage of the Clean Air Act. 🐣

Tell your elected leaders to choose protection over pollution. Our future depends on it. 🌎

📢 A win for piping plovers and the Great Lakes! 🌊

The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected Enbridge’s Line 5 oil pipeline tunnel permit and ordered a more rigorous environmental review. 👏

This win is the second permit the courts have sent back to the agencies for the pipeline. The Great Lakes need permanent reforms from Michigan’s elected leaders to protect wildlife, water, and the region from corporate greed.

Without habitat protections, endangered and threatened wildlife is left vulnerable. 🐻‍❄️🐝

Removing the definition of ‘HARM’ in the Endangered Species Act leaves critical wildlife habitat vulnerable to logging, mining, and other development projects—which can drive these species more quickly towards extinction. 📉

The Legacy Restoration Fund expired months ago, but Congress still hasn’t acted to restore this program. If Congress doesn’t vote YES to reinstate it soon, crucial support for wildlife and the wild places they call home will be lost. 🏞️🐾

Please speak out for America’s national parks, forests, and wildlife refuges. Our senators and representatives need to hear from as many people as possible urging a YES vote for the Legacy Restoration Fund: https://ow.ly/IKNo50ZtTNx

The government is proposing to allow oil and gas development on 300,000 acres of land surrounding Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico. 🏜️

That industrial development threatens some of the most significant ancient ceremonial sites and dwellings in North America. The public comment period is about to end. 🚨
