Last week, during DC schools' spring break, we took all of our amazing participants on fun and enriching field trips! One highlight: our elementary students explored the magic of language at Planet Word—a museum where words come to life.

Our February field trip to Urban Air was a huge success! Over 80 of our participants enjoyed a day filled with jumping, climbing, and lots of smiles.

Our monthly field trips are a way to celebrate our participants hard work in academics and social-emotional growth, while also providing opportunities to explore DC and the surrounding area. We can't wait to do it again soon!

What an unforgettable night! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the 17th Annual Give Thanks & Give Back Gala this past Friday. With your incredible support, Horton's Kids raised over $238,000 – and counting – to help support children and families in Southeast DC.

The generosity and spirit in the room were truly inspiring, and Horton's Kids is beyond grateful for the community's steadfast support and compassion. Here’s to many more moments of giving, growth, and community!
