Darnice’s Place ( Re-entry Women Services Program), is a start-up nonprofit 501(c)(3) social service organization providing life skills training for mothers recently released from incarceration and/or are in recovery from substance abuse. Program Objective
The program’s focus is to reunite women in recovery with their children after a separation due to incarceration and to provide these women wit

h life skills for independence and self-sufficiency. Program Services
Darnice’s Place will offer a full range of life skills for independence and self-sufficiency including: job search/training, interpersonal skills building, resumes writing, GED classes, day care/school enrollment, parenting skills, mentoring, and referrals to AIDS counselors, as needed.
