Your courage, your voices, and your willingness to share your stories are the force for change behind everything we are trying to accomplish.

This is why biomedical innovation matters, and why public support must be part of fueling the development of the next generation of cancer treatments and cures.

At Thumbs Up for a Cure, children and families weren’t simply in the audience. They were part of the conversation. They asked the hard questions, challenged our biotech innovators, and reminded all of us who we are ultimately working for: the patients and families waiting for better options.

What an unforgettable afternoon at our very first Thumbs Up for a Cure! From the beauty of LongHouse Reserve, the incredible jazz by Yosvany Terry and his band, to the heartfelt stories of our founder, Dr. Mona Jhaveri and Lisa Ward of Tough2Gether, not to mention the refreshing Yachtsman Bourbon Tea, every moment was moving.

Our kid judges stole the show, putting biotech innovators to the test with thoughtful (and sometimes tough) questions! We laughed, cried, prayed, and hoped for better treatments, more options, and ultimately, cures.
