The numbers are in: the bill passed by the House would lead to nearly 11 million people losing their coverage -- and if Congress doesn't renew supplemental tax credits to help with premiums, that number will go up to more than 15 million people. This bill will make the biggest cuts to Medicaid in the program's history, and changes the rules for Marketplace coverage so that it will be far more difficult to get tax credits to help with premiums.

This bill won't make America healthier, or wealthier. Take a moment today to let your representatives in Congress know: Medicaid is US.

Yesterday, politicians in Congress revealed how they would cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicaid: by drowning the program in red tape.

Mind you, they’re not saying “we’re cutting coverage” outright. Instead, they’re adding confusing new rules—like constant work reporting, six-month check-ins, and complicated business tax changes—that will push people off their coverage, including people who are eligible for coverage.

We can’t let that happen.

Now is the time to tell your Member of Congress: Don’t balance the budget by stripping health coverage from families.
