This year’s Holiday Party is inspired by our moody, powerful, romantic, angry queen Fiona Apple and her perfectly titled album “Fetch the Bolt Cutters”.

This will be a party that is a little bit older, a little bit wiser, a little bit angrier— but just as much fun as our 30th.

“Fetch the bolt cutters” is about choosing your tool of liberation & setting yourself Free – like demanding a free DC, freedom from occupation & fighting for the freedom to do what we want with our bodies whenever we want.

In light of ongoing s*xual violence and the refusal by the powerful to hold predators accountable, it is also a rallying cry for a future where our bodies belong only and always to us.

September 30th marks the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Hyde Amendment.

Hyde is the reason federal dollars are banned from being spent on abortions.

So anyone who gets their health insurance through Medicaid, the Veteran Affairs office, Indian Health Care Services, TriCare or Federal Employee Benefits must pay for this healthcare out of pocket.

Hyde is the reason abortion funds must exist; and until it is repealed in its entirety, your abortion fund will continue to need your support.
