The Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic Policy Forum was convened on May 21, alongside the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva to address the disproportionate impact of CKM conditions on women.
The event brought together patient advocates, health care providers, policymakers, and partners to explore how women’s wellness can better inform the CKM agenda, from earlier risk identification to more responsive, equitable, and patient-centered care across the health pathway.
The message was clear: improving outcomes for women living with CKM conditions requires stronger collaboration, greater awareness, and health systems designed around patients lived experiences.
Thank you to all speakers, attendees and co-conveners!
