The 2026 Bicycle Friendly State rankings are coming, and this year, you’re invited to add your voice through a public survey.

The survey is open through September 14, but we’re still looking for more responses from some key states — especially Alabama, Alaska, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, and Oregon. Washington and Virginia could use a few more voices, too.

If you know what it’s like to bike in one of these states, take the survey and share it with your friends, family, and fellow riders. Your response helps us build a clearer picture of what biking is actually like across the country.

ACTION ALERT 🚨 Tell Congress: funding for bike safety projects MUST continue!

As the Senate considers adding language to the transportation reauthorization bill to restrict bike lanes, we need everyone in Congress to hear us clearly: bike lanes save lives, and bicyclists have a right to ride on the roads and get home safely.

Tell your elected representatives: vote NO on any transportation reauthorization bill that would restrict the ability of federal funding to be used on bike safety projects.
