August is National Wellness Month, a time when we should be prioritizing self-care, reducing stress and creating healthier habits to feel our best. There are so many ways to do this, like enjoying a delicious meal that fuels your body while making taste buds dance, partaking in your favorite workouts, or relaxing during an at-home “spa” day.

One easy way to support overall wellness is to make sure your body is getting the essential nutrients it needs to thrive. Enriched and fortified grain foods, things like bread, pastas and cereals, have many of these nutrients added in - helping to ensure you’re meeting the recommended amounts of B vitamins, iron, zinc, magnesium and calcium.

Is corn top-of-mind as part of a diet to lower cholesterol? A new study says it should be. New research in the Journal of Nutrition reveals significant reductions in cholesterol levels when participants made a single, simple change: they swapped in foods made with refined corn flour that included added corn bran.
