During our Giving Tuesday fundraising drive, we are honored to share “Expressions of Gratitude” that the Georgia Avenue Family Support Collaborative (GAFSC) received from individuals and families we've helped. These thoughtful Expressions highlight the impact of our efforts to support and strengthen families. At this time of year, families' needs can be even greater, as the holidays heighten financial burdens and other daily living stressors for many. At GAFSC, we know that even when people tell you they are fine, they may still be suffering in silence. Our purpose becomes even stronger… to help those who need help the most. Additionally, service needs, referrals, and requests through our Brightwood Family Success Center and GAFSC Family Services Division continue to increase across Ward 4, as the past several months have been both complex and challenging for families.
For these reasons, we are increasing our Giving Tuesday goal from $2,000 to $4,000, which will enable us to better meet the needs of families across Ward 4.
