Since 2010, CCF has sent a Ramadan gift of $100 to political prisoners who were targeted in the domestic “war on terror.” After being preemptively prosecuted, they have been serving lengthy, draconian sentences for no more than "thought" crimes.

We want to send a Ramadan gift to ALL of our prisoners, but we need your help!

Thanks to our generous donors, we have raised almost $23,000.

But we still need $12,000.

CCF Ramadan Appeal - Who Gets the Gift?

Serdar Tatar was befriended and entrapped by a paid FBI informant and accused of plotting to kill military personnel. Serdar became suspicious of his new "friend", Mahmoud Omar, and alerted the police that he thought Omar might be planning a terror attack. However, it was Serdar who came to be investigated by the FBI. He was convicted and sentenced to 33 years in prison. His release date is 2035.
