HBCU Lacrosse The HBCU Lacrosse Association is a non-profit organization that strives grow the game of Lacrosse at HBCUs.

GROW THE GAME: The purpose of the organization is to provide the Historically Black Colleges & Universities Lacrosse (HBCU LAX) student athletes, faculty, and staff who love the game of lacrosse, its competitive nature, cultural roots, and status of excellence; the opportunity to see and/or participate at a high level of college lacrosse. This will be achieved through the association by establish

ing an outlet of competitive lacrosse for HBCU athletes on HBCU college campuses. Scholarship - Our short-term goal is to establish teams at 2-4 HBCUs per year, for the next 5-years. Our long-term goal is to establish a conduit for providing HBCU LAX student-athletes scholarship (whether the team is playing under club or NCAA).

Flashback: Morgan State shocks Washington and Lee 📚

The Bears' upset of No. 1-ranked Washington and Lee in men’s lacrosse inspired a book chronicling the historic occasion, titled “Ten Bears." Members of the Bears program rose to fame in the lacrosse world, with Joe Fowlkes gracing the cover of the NCAA Lacrosse Guide in 1978.
