Hello medical cannabis supporters & patients,

The Sweetleaf Collective is teaming up with Solful Dispensary for a 1-time compassion donation pickup.

If you know anyone that may be seeking cannabis compassion, please feel free to share this update, as the participation requirements are below.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We have around two dozen compassion bags available and would like to offer those to interested patients. The donation pick-up date has not been set yet but will be once we’re able to assign all of the donations to a patient.
To reserve a compassion bag for the day of the pickup, I will need the following information (listed below) to be sent to me either through a secure email or direct text. Once I receive the requested information, I will then send an email to the patient with the day of pick-up event information and reminders of what documents will be needed to receive the donation. I will be the point of contact and my contact information is listed below.
Requested Patient Information:
1) First & last name
2) contact email.
(If the patient is working with a social worker/case manager, then please include their contact information as well so I keep them up to date as well).
3) A valid/up-to-date government-issued identification card
4) A Physician's Medical Cannabis Recommendation or MMIC card
Please send these to:
[email protected]
Hello Sonoma County Cannabis Patients,
Sonoma County’s Cannabis Program has recently announced proposed changes to the County Ordinance that relate to personal cannabis cultivation, future cannabis permits, zoning changes, and more. The deadline for submitting your comments and feedback, this Friday May 3rd, 2024. Here is the link to find the proposed county documents.
The issues that may affect patients include:
Dropping the 100 square foot canopy that has been in place in Sonoma County for over 20 years!
Allow 6 plants per adult (versus 6 plants per residential dwelling), which is allowed under state law.
Considering allowing consumption lounges (support!).
Expanding the buffer areas will limit the properties that can be used for cannabis cultivation which will mean fewer opportunities and higher barriers to entry and ultimately, a higher cost for patients to access local products.
Any increase in cost, or hurdles to the permitting process, is financially burdensome on the patient's retail purchases. Cannabis businesses should be treated like similar non-cannabis businesses, as regulations already exist at the state level.
Support removing the arbitrary cap of nine dispensaries, and allowing non-storefront retail (i.e. delivery), to increase patient access.
Many of you were blessed to get to meet Sebastien Cotte during ASA’s conferences in DC. Hes recently put out this update related to his son Jagger. Please take action with us tomorrow in a unified effort to show Jagger how much love 💗 he has worldwide. Details below
As we are cuddling with Jagger in his final moments we wanted to come up with something to show him how much he is loved and cared about all over the country/around the world.
So we are going to need everyone’s help on this one.
Would love for this to go somewhat viral, please share online everywhere you can and participate if you can.
Jagger’s favorite color has always been red, likely because it was the only color he could really see but we would love for everyone to wear or hold something red tomorrow Friday April 19th , take a pic of video and post it online.
Feel free to post it as a comment on this post or/and tag Moves like Jagger on your post/picture/video.
And if you don’t want to wait until tomorrow and do it today, it’s of course fine too.
We would love to see our Facebook go red and see some unity (in this divided world) in honor of Jagger even if just for a day.
Thank you everyone for your thoughts, prayers and for wearing red
