🚨 Our Youth. Our Blocks. Our Responsibility. 🚨

School is back in session for some, and starting soon for more. In light of federal overreach and increased threats to DC’s autonomy, our community is organizing to protect and uplift our young people—because safety and joy are our birthright, not a privilege.

📅 It’s Time to Walk the Block
📍 Anacostia Library
📆 Thursday, August 14
🕕 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Join us to:
✅ Create joyful, safe commutes for our children
✅ Increase adult presence in vulnerable areas
✅ Organize sustainable community support as the school year begins

✨ Cool treats will be provided outside the library!

This event builds on the Youth Safety Strategy Meeting happening TODAY at 4:30 PM (bit.ly/free-dc-youth-strategy). Let’s keep the momentum going.
