CARE Anacostia is seeking committed leaders to join our Board of Directors—people who believe that Black children deserve thriving schools, supported educators, engaged families, and every opportunity to succeed.
Whether your background is in business, education, finance, law, communications, nonprofit leadership, or another field, your expertise can help strengthen a community-led movement creating lasting change for Anacostia’s children and families.
The commitment is just six board meetings each year, plus a few school and fundraising events—making it possible to serve while balancing your career, family, and other commitments.
