*SECTION 1: OVERVIEW OF BOSS*
Welcome to BOSS — more than just a clan, we’re a family. Since 2013, we’ve been holding it down on Battlefield through PSN, and our longevity speaks volumes: stability, loyalty, and community. Our core mission is simple — squad up, have fun, and dominate the battlefield together. But it’s not just about the game. Through our active private Facebook group, we’ve built lasting friendships and a true brotherhood. We pride ourselves on maintaining a respectful, positive, and fun environment for all our members.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*SECTION 2: BOSS CULTURE*
At BOSS, our culture is simple — relax, squad up, and enjoy the game. We're here to have fun playing Battlefield and build real friendships along the way. That’s the heart of what we do. In the past, we made the mistake of taking things too seriously — trying to dictate how others played, what class they used, or how they approached the game. That kind of control killed the vibe for a lot of us. We’ve learned from that. Today, everyone is free to play their own way. Whether you're here to run support, snipe, or just mess around with C4 jeeps, you're welcome. While we've dabbled in competitive matches, we’ve found that keeping it casual is where the real fun — and real community — lives.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*SECTION 3: QUALIFICATIONS / CRITERIA*
To ensure BOSS remains a strong, respectful, and fun community, we have a few clear standards for membership. Here's what we're looking for:
1. Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older.
2. Platform: Own and play the current Battlefield title on PlayStation 5 or newer.
3. Headset: A working gaming headset is required for communication during squad play.
4. Team-Oriented: Be a team player — cooperation, support, and good comms matter.
5. Facebook Activity: You must be an active Facebook user, participating in our private member group: Boss Platoon.
6. Messenger Communication: Use Facebook Messenger and stay reasonably responsive. It’s our primary communication tool.
7. Performance Requirement: Maintain a minimum infantry K/D ratio of 2.0. If you're close, reach out — we’re open to conversations.
8. Battlefield Commitment: Be a true fan of the Battlefield series — not just a single title.
9. PS App: Have and use the PlayStation App for easier connectivity with clanmates.
10. Language: Must fluently speak and understand English (spoken and written). Zero Tolerance Policy:
Absolutely no racism, prejudice, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind — including but not limited to religion, politics, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc. Everyone in BOSS is equal and respected. No exceptions. No excuses.

*SECTION 5: WHAT WE DON’T WANT*
We're building a positive, respectful, and drama-free community — and to keep it that way, we do not welcome:
- Arrogant or self-centered attitudes
- Know-it-alls who can’t take feedback or listen
- Negative personalities that bring down the vibe
- Constant complainers or whiners
- Anyone who creates conflict or drama within the group
If you’re here to have fun, support your squad, and contribute to a great atmosphere, you’ll fit right in. If not — BOSS isn’t the place for you.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*SECTION 6: CASUAL & COMPETITIVE MEMBERS*
At BOSS, we’re one united family — not divided into "casual" or "competitive" groups. Everyone is part of the same squad, and our main goal remains simple: have fun playing Battlefield together. Whether you're squadding up daily or just jumping in on weekends, you're part of the team. Some of our members enjoy the thrill of competitive matches against other clans. Others prefer to just kick back and play for fun. Both are welcome, and neither is valued more than the other. Is BOSS a competitive clan? No — and that’s by design. Competitive play is something we may engage in from time to time, but it's not our foundation. We're not built around leagues or clan wars. Those things are a side dish, not the main course. While we’ve participated in tournaments and official leagues in the past, our experience has shown that the competitive scene often brings toxicity, egos, rule-bending, and “ringers” (outside help). It tends to get way too serious — and in our view, that takes the fun out of the game. In BOSS, fun comes first. If we do compete, it’s strictly for enjoyment — not to chase clout or rankings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*SECTION 7: BOSS CODE OF CONDUCT*
Being part of BOSS means upholding a standard of behavior that reflects our values and protects our community. These rules are non-negotiable:
1. Zero Tolerance for Racism or Prejudice
Any form of racism, hate speech, or prejudice — including political, religious, sexual orientation, gender, or ethnic discrimination — will result in immediate removal. No warnings.
2. No Cheating or Exploits
The use of hacks, mods, or any software/hardware that gives you an unfair advantage is strictly forbidden. If you're caught cheating, you're out — no exceptions.
3. Keep Politics & Personal Views Off the BOSS Page
Our Facebook group is for gaming-related content only. Please keep political, religious, or personal opinions on your own timeline. This helps keep the community focused and drama-free.
4. Honor, Integrity, and Respect
Every BOSS member is expected to act with integrity, show respect to others, and carry themselves with honor — both in and out of the game.
5. No Trash-Talking or Disrespect
Do not leave disrespectful comments on other clans’ pages or toward fellow BOSS members. Represent the clan with class.
6. Giveaway/Promotional Gift Policy
If you receive a gift (giveaway, gear, etc.) and leave the clan within 3 months, you are expected to either return or reimburse the gift. This isn’t to punish anyone — it's about fairness. Compensation can be arranged even after leaving.
7. Former Member Conduct & Server Access
If you're removed from the clan due to toxic, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior, you may also be banned from BOSS-controlled servers. This is handled on a case-by-case basis.
8. Always Play With BOSS, Not Against
When playing on a server with BOSS members, always try to be on the same team. If you're auto-placed on the opposite team, make an effort to switch. Intentionally playing against fellow BOSS members is not in line with our values.

*SECTION 8: BOSS TOP 10 TIPS FOR KEEPING IT FUN*
A few pearls of wisdom to help keep the BOSS experience positive, enjoyable, and drama-free. Treat Gaming as Your Escape
Battlefield should be a break from real-world stress — not a new source of it. Respect the vibe and enjoy the time with your BOSS brothers and sisters. Don’t Be “That Guy”
Gaming with someone who’s constantly raging, overly serious, or negative kills the fun. Think of it like dropping a dead fish in a clean room — nobody wants to hang around that smell. Uplift, Don’t Tear Down
Be slow to anger and quick to encourage your squadmates. Pay attention to how your words impact the people around you — you either build community or break it down. Keep It Respectful, Always
Never let disagreements get personal. If someone rubs you the wrong way, don’t take it to heart — and definitely don’t make it worse by firing back. Control Your Emotions
Self-control is key. If your emotions take over, you’re not helping the team — you’re becoming a liability. Stay cool. Step Away When Needed
If you’re starting to feel heated, pause. Put the controller down, grab a snack, take a breather — or just log off and hit it fresh tomorrow. No shame in it. Frustration Happens — Just Manage It Well
Everyone gets frustrated sometimes. The key is how you show it. If you're venting but still keeping it light and fun, you're fine. If you're bringing everyone down — not so much. Lead by Example
Your tone, attitude, and maturity in chat say a lot about you. Be the person others look up to — positive, patient, and team-oriented. Let Players Play Their Way
Avoid micromanaging. Don’t tell others how to play — Battlefield is a sandbox. Respect each player’s style, even if it’s different from yours. Let Leadership Handle Issues
If someone crosses a line, don’t escalate. Report it to a leader and let them handle it. Stay calm, and help keep the peace. De-escalate — don’t inflame. Helpful Articles/Links:
