“One patient traveled by bus from Texas for her procedure. Although she had support from other funders, her ultrasound showed she was farther along than expected, which raised costs.

With other organizations closed for the holiday, she panicked about the remaining balance for her return home. Anxious about the procedure, she felt immense relief when we informed her of extra funding to cover the difference.

Tearfully grateful, she noted that without this financial help from the clinic and its partners, she couldn't have proceeded with care. “
