We are proud to share that three Sinai House mothers recently graduated from college, two earning nursing degrees and one completing a bachelor's degree in public health, all while raising their children and overcoming homelessness. These women did not just reach a milestone; they changed the trajectory of their families' lives.
We received this testimonial:
.. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for all the support you gave me during the 20 months I lived at Sinai House. I came to you during one of the hardest times of my life, straight from a shelter, facing many struggles--both spoken and unspoken. Your support, encouragement, and kindness truly made a difference. Today, I am proud to share that I have completed my nursing degree journey. - Lidia, Recent Sinai House Alumni
For women with children, a college degree means stability, opportunity, and dignity. It opens the door to meaningful work, higher income, and the ability to provide a secure future. Just as important, it shows their children what it possible, helping break the cycle of generational poverty.
These successes are possible because of donors like you who believe that safe housing, education, and support can transform lives.
Thank you for believing in the strength of women and the promise of their families. We are so grateful to have you as part of the Sinai House community.
Please help Sinai House continue this life-changing work by considering making a donation today. Your support ensures that more mothers and children can build stable, hopeful futures. https://www.sinaihouse.org/donate
