Streateries are coming back to Mt Pleasant, and you helped make it happen! Thanks to your generosity, our Bring Back Streateries campaign has raised $19,422.05. That enabled District Bridges to disburse $20,631.21 in small business grants to five local businesses to subsidize streatery costs. Swipe for the full update ➡️

A major opportunity is a second life for the 18th St streateries! The modular platforms removed from Adams Morgan in November 2025 have been sitting in storage ever since. DDOT will soon sell them at a surplus property auction. They’re built with preapproved materials, so businesses can submit the manufacturer’s specs instead of paying for architect drawings, which saves time and money and encourages more businesses to pursue a permit.
