First taco crawl in the books, it was a blast! Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed Mount Pleasant's best tacos and pupusas. Together, we generated $640 in revenue for local spots! We had TWO taconnoisseurs tying for the lead with 9 tacos a piece. WHO CAN TOP IT??? Keep playing Tour del Taco all month long to rack up points, and win gift cards (hundreds of dollars worth of dc restaurants await!), hats, stickers, and t-shirts. New this year, Tour Del Taco includes a weekly taco Tuesday taco crawl! Join us April 7th in Mount Pleasant from 6-9pm, as we drop in to Corado’s, Casamigo, Don Juan, and El Pollo Sabroso. This event is FREE but you need to RSVP on our website! You’ll receive a sticker, taco tally passport to document your tasting notes, and the individual who consumes the most tacos (or pupusas) throughout the evening walks away with a Tour Del Taco ball cap. You’ll earn points just for attending the crawl towards your Tour Del Taco competition, and it’s an opportunity to RACK UP eats you can log for points on points on points. It’s an event all TRUE TACONNOISSEURS wouldn’t miss— but whether you’re brand new to TDT or you’ve played every year, a chance to be in community and eat great food is too good to miss. Make It! Mt. Pleasant Holiday Market is this Sunday! More than 70 artists and artisans will fill Lamont Plaza and line Mt. Pleasant Street, offering pottery, paintings, home decor, clothing, dog treats, and many other gifts for the holiday season. Presented by Mt. Pleasant Artists Collective.
