The Uplifting Neighborhood Students Foundation (also known as ‘UNS Foundation’) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of underserved youth in Washington D.C. The mission of the UNS Foundation is to guide underserved youth by building their capacity in education, vocational services and creating economic opportunities. The focus of the UNS Foundation is on increasing

youth involvement and interaction in core areas including the arts, science, math and physical activity. Established in 2006, the UNS Foundation’s programs include GED preparation services, tutoring, mentoring and workforce development.
