World Day of Remembrance is a day that honors & remembers those who have been personally impacted by traffic violence. takes on extra urgency as fatalities and crashes are rising an alarming rate in the US.
We are hosting an interactive Remembrance Wall at Union Station from Mon Nov 15 thru Sun Nov 21. It's been too long since we've gathered to collectively mourn or process our traumas related to traffic violence. So we are creating a space for you to drop by to honor and remember. The Remembrance Wall with feature artwork from Chalk Riot. And we invite you to visit and contribute with chalk, photos, or mementos to:
🕯 Celebrate loved ones
💐 Commemorate a crash you survived
💛 Thank a first responder who helped
🌇 Share your hopes for our collective future
All are welcome to participate regardless of when, where, or how the crash that touched your life occurred. One life lost to traffic violence is one too many.
