The Washington Nepal Health Foundation, created in 2018, is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c) organization dedicated to providing health care services to impoverished children and families in Nepal. In addition to these projects, we are continuing to help raise funds (an additional $200,000) to purchase a CAT Scanner for our busy partner hospital, Sheer Memorial in Banepa.

We ask for your help with this vital project. Your generous donation will greatly help improve the lives of needy families in Nepal. It has been devastated by earthquakes in the past and just this month again. The result continues the increase in hunger, poverty and loss of life.

On behalf of Washington Nepal Health Foundation (WNHF), President Dr. Steven B. Hopping was delighted to host a cocktail party to honor Nepali first Billionaire and Philanthropist Mr. Binod Chaudhary and his family and friends. Mr. Chaudhary and Dr. Hopping expressed their interest to undertake some joint health projects to help support and benefit underprivileged people in Nepal. Indeed, this was a great platform to meet and greet each other. With gratitude, Dr. Hopping thanked to all participants.

Washington Nepal Health Foundation Request!
Nepal covid-19 cases are spiking beyond health care capacities creating a critical need for hospital equipment and medical and basic food supplies. Our Foundation is committed to raising $100,000 for ventilators, cardiac monitors and lifesaving food resources to help Nepalis survive this winter.
In addition we will be simultaneously contributing funds to the Central Union Mission - Washington, DC to provide food and shelter for our homeless neighbors here at home.
