TU and other aviation consumer groups included seven principles to guide consumer protections almost a decade ago. We have been speaking with DOT since then and nothing has happened. While airlines continue to get varied support, airlines and Congress are ignoring consumers. Even bills passed by Congress are being ignored by the DOT.
