This week in 2012, Kimberly lost her life to meningitis B.

One week before her high school graduation, Kimberly came home from school with a fever and body aches. Within hours, her symptoms turned critical.

Kimberly was a healthy 17-year-old who never got to graduate or dance at prom. She never had the chance to get vaccinated against meningitis B. But now, teens do.

Her mother, Patti, wants families to know that teens and young adults need protection against ALL five strains that cause meningococcal disease: A, B, C, W, and Y.

In Kimberly's memory, ask your healthcare provider about meningococcal vaccination.

Dogs and cats are a vital part of our families. Keeping our fur babies up to date on vaccines protects them and the people around them from dangerous diseases.

Some viruses, like rabies, can spread between animals and humans. Rabies is nearly 100% fatal and is still found among wildlife like bats and raccoons. To protect animal and human health, even indoor animals like dogs and cats need rabies vaccination.

Since there is no treatment for rabies, prevention is key. Talk with your veterinarian about protecting your family.

A new study estimates flu cost U.S. adults nearly $29B during the 2023–2024 season.

The study also found that higher adult flu vaccination rates were linked to fewer deaths and fewer hospital stays for adults 50+.
