The countdown is on!

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, Links members will come together for its 31st Annual Walk for Healthy Living Walk-a-thon—moving with purpose toward a 80 million steps goal in celebration of The Links 80th Anniversary!

Links members can walk with their chapter, a Link sister, or move with family, friends and community members as every step counts!
· Let’s set a personal goal of 5,000–10,000 steps.
· Links members are asked to wear a Healthy Living or Links T-shirt.
· Capture the fun! Share photos and chapter movement videos using .

We are asking members to record their steps using the link in bio to help us track our collective progress toward 80 million steps.

NOTE: Due to the Nor’easter’s predicted impact on areas of the East Coast tomorrow, we want to encourage everyone to use good judgment and put safety first. You can participate virtually by walking indoors tomorrow. We have been notified that some Links chapters are doing both.

As we are walking, let us also celebrate The Links, Incorporated’s newest strategic partnership with GirlTREK, a global movement of Black women utilizing the historic legacy of walking and the power of self-care as a pathway to heal and transform lives. As GirlTREK Executive Director Ayanna Taylor shared, “GirlTREK and The Links, Incorporated share a belief that Black women are stronger together. For more than 30 years, The Links Walk for Healthy Living has brought Black women and our communities out walking for our health. I’m thrilled that together we can carry the spirit of that walk into everyday, building habits that help us live longer, healthier lives, strengthen our communities, and build power.” Tomorrow, and every day, let’s show what happens when 18,000+ Link Sisters, family, friends and communities move together for better health!
