WEConnect International is extending outreach efforts to boost women’s economic
productivity in Latin America and the Caribbean by identifying, certifying
and facilitating the connection to corporate buyers interested in sourcing
from women-owned businesses.

WEConnect International certifies businesses at least 51% owned,
managed and controlled by one or more women; connects them with the
growing global demand from corporations for diverse and innovative female
suppliers; and works with partners to provide the education, training and
peer connections needed to help women build their competency in
procurement bidding. WEConnect International certification gives corporations confidence they are awarding contracts to women-owned businesses and gives women visibility to multinational corporations and women-owned businesses worldwide.
