Attention:

PLEASE avoid grocery shopping on April 1-3 unless you have a critical need. Many WIC/SNAP benefits come to low-income families at the first of the month and there will be a surge as these families redeem them. Many of these families' benefits were depleted more quickly because children are staying home from school and some families are going hungry right now.

Also, please respect their needs by not buying items with a WIC shelf tag. They cannot simply substitute these items with others; they would go without.

This will also help to keep some of our city's most vulnerable safer by not adding to the crowds in the stores unnecessarily.

ALSO, people on these cannot buy things online/for delivery.

COVID 19: We need your help!

With schools now being closed for the foreseeable future because of the health pandemic, your help is needed now more than ever to help us feed people who are experiencing food insecurity.

As you know many families who have reduced fare or free lunches are no longer able to feed their children because of the schools being closed. We would like to send food trucks to affected neighborhoods so people can feed their families. We will work together with local authorities to assist in getting meals to people who need them in the most urgent locations.

Together with your help, we can help bring relief to people who will experience hardship because of this health crisis.
