🎣 2025 Big Kahuna Fishing Tournament Recap! 🌧️⚓

Despite the rain coming from all directions, our captains and teams showed grit and determination at this year’s Big Kahuna Fishing Tournament and the results were incredibly close!

🥇 1st Place Overall went to Jake & Cheyenne and their team Black Jack, reeling in a combined 60.5 inches.
🥈 Right on their tail, Big Z Charters and team 86 Bananas landed 60.25 inches — just 1/4 inch shy!
🥉 Island Bike Shop and their team Way South rounded out the top with 58.375 inches.

🌬️ The Fly Division battled through summer winds, and the competition was fierce:
🏆 Blackwater Guide Co. and their boat Shrimpin’ Ain’t Easy took 1st in Fly with 52 inches, and snagged the Tarpon Grand Prize with a 28.25-inch tarpon, edging out 86 Bananas by just 1 inch!
🥈 Team Boat-Throat secured 2nd in Fly with 16 inches.

A massive THANK YOU to all the anglers, captains, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support and celebrate — all in the name of raising money for the 💙

Today marks two years since we lost an incredible soul, Jerry Alajajian (2/28/1952 - 3/8/2023). His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit continue to inspire us every single day. ❤️

In his memory, we’re proud to host the 2nd Annual Big Kahuna Fishing Tournament on June 1st, 2025—a special event dedicated to celebrating Jerry’s life and the impact he made. This tournament isn’t just about fishing; it’s about coming together, giving back, and continuing Jerry’s legacy of helping others. 💙

Jerry always believed in lifting people up, and through this event, we’re doing just that—while also supporting the , a cause that was so close to his heart. 🎗️
