We're celebrating a successful SIO Interventional Oncology Clinical Trials Methodology Workshop, an initiative of the Clinical Trials Collaborative, hosted last week at the University of Pennsylvania.

Over the course of this intensive program, our 2026 scholars transformed innovative research concepts into implementation‑ready clinical trial proposals — an incredible achievement and testament to their dedication and drive.
Through collaborative Protocol Development Group (PDG) sessions, scholars worked closely with course directors to refine their ideas, strengthen study design, and navigate the critical steps needed to bring clinical trials to life.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our course directors for their leadership and to our faculty for their mentorship and commitment throughout the week. Congratulations to our scholars!
