Teacher's Aides were the original Paraprofessionals. These five ladies started in 1974 and continued in various other staff positions for the school for many years. The three ladies on the left will make their appearance at the reunion banquet and, if Donna and Sharon show up, there needs to be a reenactment of this picture--minus the couch. We thank them for their contribution and dedication to the Warroad educational system.

The Bicentennial Class of 1976 had 59 seniors in their class with five classmates no longer with them: Allen Bourman, Bryan Hamilton, David Hollrah, Stephen Lewis and James Murphy. Their class motto was, "It's the morning of your life; the best is yet to come." Being around to celebrate a 50TH Anniversary is one of those "best" things in life and we hope to see many of these '76ers at this July 3RD reunion.

NOTE: Missing from this class composite is Les Cole, Dianna Ruth Kinne and Randy Noble.

Last month, Theowen Stoskopf Thortsen passed away. When the Class of 1949 celebrated their 75TH class anniversary, Theowen, James "Jim" Green, Jr. and Mae "Jean" Jones Pederson attended. Jim spoke briefly on behalf of the Class of '49 and spoke about how WW II shaped their lives and how appreciative he was for the teachers who guided and supported their class.

After the banquet, while this picture was being taken, Theowen loudly proclaimed, "Jim and I used to date!" Jim thought for a second and replied, "Oh, yeah! That's right! We did, didn't we?". Hence, the laughter. Jim passed away the following month after this picture was taken, Jean the next summer and now Theowen.

Special memories like this happen at the Warroad All School Reunion every year on July 3RD. Join us to celebrate our special teachers and staff, old friendships and a walk down memory lane.
