Namati Advancing social & environmental justice by building a movement of people who know, use & shape law

Namati advances social and environmental justice by building a movement of people to know, use, and shape the law. Namati works in partnership with community paralegals in five countries. The paralegals support their communities to protect common lands, enforce environmental law, and secure basic rights to healthcare and citizenship. Together with the communities we serve, we strive to translate t

he lessons from this grassroots experience into positive, large-scale changes to laws and systems. Globally, we convene the Grassroots Justice Network — over 3,000 groups and 12,000 individuals from every part of the world. Members are learning from one another, advocating together, and joining forces to bring justice everywhere.

Congratulations to this year's Goldman Environmental Prize winners!

Congratulations to the 2026 Goldman Environmental Prize winners! We're inspired by these six women taking bold action to protect the planet. Many of them used their knowledge of the law to shape a fairer and more sustainable world—providing great examples of how everyday people drive movements.
