Rest in Peace & Glory, Calvin Thomas

Calvin worked at Capital Fringe and was one of the many people who helped keep things moving behind the scenes. Over twenty years, thousands of artists, staff, volunteers, technicians, and audience members became part of the DC Fringe story. Calvin was one of them, a true friend, a good neighbor in Trinidad, and someone whose presence will be remembered 🤍 🕊️

🇺🇸 Sohrab Haghverdi based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, US

Selected from 120 applications across the U.S. and Canada, these Fringe artists represent the depth and vitality of the open-access Fringe ecosystem. We’re honored to support their touring work and to continue Edward Glenn Tyler’s legacy of experimentation, access, and artist-driven practice.

Congratulations to both awardees.

The Tyler Fringe Touring Fund was created to support artists touring work through open-access Fringe festivals across North America. The Fund is named in
