Volunteer/Site Education:
Information Board: Displayed at the construction site to inform volunteers
and visitors of the green building practices used by DC Habitat. Informational Lunches: On site, during lunch break, providing staff and
volunteers with more discussion on the green building practices being used.

2. Homeowner Education:
Homeowner Manual: Manual developed for 1st Homeowners that pr

ovides detailed information on the green building elements of their home as well as green house cleaning/maintenance practices. Home buyer Educational Class: Develop a program to further educate home buyers on the building process and how to be energy efficient and environmentally responsible homeowners.

3. Energy Models & Analysis: Develop a researched report on the energy efficiency of our green homes through the analysis of various homes built by DC Habitat over the course of the NE Parcel project.

4. Recycled Content Report: Collect and document recycling data from the NE Parcel to show how much waste is diverted from landfills. Geothermal Research Project: Research the geothermal hvac system concept and provide DC Habitat with analysis of geothermal compared to other HVAC systems.
