It was an incredible week celebrating all our students accomplished this summer. 💙

At the Learning Showcase, students proudly shared original artwork inspired by different artists and STEAM video games they designed through creativity, collaboration, and ingenuity. Although every group started with the same prompt and tools, each project was completely unique.

Then came one of the most anticipated days of the summer: Swim Olympics! 🏊 After years of St. Patrick's victories, Norwood took home this year's championship in a day full of teamwork, excitement, and cheering.

A special thank you to Saint-Gobain for joining us to celebrate our students and their incredible work.

¡Fue una semana increíble celebrando todo lo que nuestros estudiantes lograron este verano! 💙

En la Exposición de Aprendizaje, los estudiantes compartieron con orgullo obras de arte originales inspiradas en diferentes artistas y videojuegos STEAM que diseñaron con creatividad, colaboración e ingenio. Aunque todos los grupos comenzaron con el mismo desafío y las mismas herramientas, cada proyecto fue completamente único.

Después llegó uno de los días más esperados del verano: ¡las Olimpiadas de Natación! 🏊 Tras años de victorias de St. Patrick's, Norwood se llevó el campeonato de este año en una jornada llena de trabajo en equipo, emoción y muchas porras.

It's hard to believe we're wrapping up another incredible summer. 💙

None of it would be possible without our amazing teachers, who make every day meaningful for our students. These moments are just a glimpse of the learning, creativity, confidence, and joy they've helped foster over the past five weeks.

It's hard to believe that next week we will wrap up our 2026 Summer Program. 💙

To celebrate, we're hosting two opportunities to see the result of students' hard work from the summer.

🏊 Swim Olympics – At this exciting event, our swimmers showcase the skills they've built through years of Horizons swim instruction. The event features individual and relay races, with plenty of cheering from students and teachers alike.

📚 Learning Showcase – At this event, we will be celebrating the art and STEAM projects of our middle school students. You'll explore student artwork, play student-coded games, and hear directly from students and teachers about the learning process from start to finish. Light lunch included.

We can't wait to watch our students take the plunge and celebrate one of our favorite summer traditions. 💙

When there was a last-minute change to pool availability for our students this summer, Little Falls stepped in to ensure that swimming, a core part of the Horizons Summer Program, would still happen! 🏊

We're incredibly thankful to Little Falls for opening their pool to Horizons students this summer. Thanks to their partnership, our students are still diving into swim lessons, building confidence in the water, and making summer memories.

And today, they're taking on one of our favorite traditions: Penguin Plunge! 🐧❄️💦
