What a great day the Fort Smith Chapter had today at our annual Holiday party. We started with prospective member Emily England signing her application, then a fun and yummy Christmas Tea, followed by a presentation by Tom Wing. Tom talked to us about the special presentation in Fort Smith of the Flag Sojourn 250, which is the journey of one American flag to every US state, every US territory, and every US military cemetery until it is presented in Washington DC on July 4, 2026. After Tom’s talk 6 new DAR members were inducted into the Fort Smith Chapter. We closed our holiday gathering with a fun game of Dirty Santa.
