young people like John Lewis & Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) marched for the Voting Rights Act. The VRA was theirs. The fight to keep it is ours.

we're planning a carpool this Sat 5/16 from Atlanta, GA to rally with civil & voting rights leaders in Montgomery, AL at 1:00 PM.

We're looking for students to:

• join us for the planned carpool from Atlanta (space is limited)
• drive other students from Atlanta to Montgomery
• plan carpools from other cities

They know they can't win at the ballot box — so they're coming after our freedom to vote.

But throughout history — whether it was SNCC fighting Jim Crow the 60's, or Serbian students resisting their dictator in the 2000's — young people have played a critical role in defending elections & winning the democracy we deserve!
